Our mission, vision and values
AHPN's mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of African descent communities living in the UK who are disproportionately affected by long term health conditions such as HIV, mental health, diabetes and obesity.
Our vision is to narrow the health inequality gap by ensuring that Black communities in the UK have equal access to services, support and information. This is achieved through a human rights-based approach that ensures that the design, delivery and monitoring of health and cares services are tailored around the needs of Black people in the UK.

We believe that every individual deserves equal rights and opportunities, and we strive to make this a through our work. Join us in our mission to create a more just and equitable society for all.
