BAME Healthy Communities Surviving Covid-19
Resilience and Rebuilding from the Grass Roots - Micro Grants
Covid-19 has exposed the depth and breadth of health inequalities across the UK. BAME organisations, communities and individuals have been disproportionately impacted by the pandemic, and also by the range of intersecting issues that existed prior to, and will outlast, Covid-19.
Smaller BAME organisations, often already working at the margins, have been particularly hard hit. With this micro-grant fund we want to help these organisations maintain stability and build capacity during this challenging period. BAME Not-for-profit groups and health and wellbeing organisations working across the UK can apply for a micro-grant and all funds must be utilised within six months of receipt. Micro-grants can be used for purposes including staff development or Trustee training, charity registration, developing a constitution or increasing connectivity.
If you would like to apply for a micro-grant of between £500-£1,000 to help build capacity and resilience in your organisation, please register for the application form below. We will contact you for a short Zoom interview as part of the application process.
You must meet the following eligibility points to be considered for funding:
You are a BAME-led organisation
Your services are directed towards primarily BAME service users
If you are unsure about any of the above or have any other queries then please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
